Information, Referral, Resources on issues relating to Domestic Violence, Support Groups, Health, Apprehended Violence Orders

Support Groups for women including Postive Relationships groups and self esteem groups. Please contact the centre for details of the upcoming groups
A range of support services through the Illawarra Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (IWDVCAS) (funded by Legal Aid NSW) for women seeking an ADVO. For more information go to the IWDVCAS page here or ring us on 4228 1499
The Family Advocacy Support Service – support services for women at the Family Court
Free legal representation at court through the Domestic Violence Practitioners Scheme, for women seeking private ADVO’s who are eligible for legal aid and are an existing client of the Court Advocacy Service (above). Free advice is also available at court for women with Police initiated ADVO’s on matters such as Family Law, Child Support, Victims Compensation, and Property, upon referral from the Court Advocacy Service
